Sculptra ® Aesthetic is an injectable form of poly-L-lactic acid that triggers the body’s natural production of collagen and gradually restores a younger-looking appearance. We will use a fine needle to inject Sculptra ® below the skin of the treatment and can apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area prior to an injection session to reduce any discomfort associated with the injection process. This injectable treatment can be used to improve facial volume that has been lost as a result of the aging process and improve the appearance of fine lines and facial wrinkles.

The results of this injectable collagen-stimulator develop gradually as new collagen forms and develops. While the results of this treatment may not be immediate, you will experience a gradual improvement in the visible signs of age and overall quality of your skin. Many patients begin to see visible improvement in the treatment area after their third injection session. Results of Sculptra® Aesthetic can last for up to two years. Multiple injection sessions may be required in order to achieve your desired results.

Some patients may experience some temporary side effects, including mild swelling, bruising, redness, itching, or discomfort at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve on their own within one week of an injection session.
